First Bank of Nigeria Limited says in line with its digital transformation strategy, it will showcase its digital offerings at this year’s edition of Social Media Week, themed, ‘Reimagining Human Connectivity.’
A statement on Friday by the Group Head, Marketing and Corporate Communications, Folake Ani-Mumuney, said the bank would be partnering with the promoters of the annual event for the third time in a row.
According to the statement, the initiative creates a platform to bring together the best creative minds as well as the discussion and amplification of some of the best ideas, strategies and insights shared all over the world by people and organisations that are shaping the future.
It noted that the programme would feature exciting programmes and activities that would drive technological insight and break new grounds in the digital ecosystem.
“First Bank would be at the event to drive experiential and digital engagements, create customised brand experiences for the participants at the event as well as feature its latest technological offerings and services,” the statement added.
The statement stressed that the bank had in the last few years rolled out some digital offerings, like USSD banking service, online and mobile applications to boost convenience and ease of banking for its customers, such as First Mobile app and First Bank LOOP.
